Accountability and transparency in nonprofit work

Impact & transparency

Accountable to the communities we serve.

We believe donors and participants deserve full transparency. Here you'll find our program commitments, governance standards, financial policies, and the documentation that backs every claim we make.

A note on our stage

Changing Stars Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in 2026 as a Florida nonprofit corporation. We are in our founding year — actively building programs, pursuing 501(c)(3) recognition, and establishing the financial infrastructure that will support rigorous annual reporting. This page will grow as we do.

Our commitments

What we promise every donor.

100% program-directed giving

Every unrestricted gift goes directly to participant services. Board members serve without compensation. Administrative costs are minimized and disclosed.

Annual financial reporting

We will publish audited financial statements and IRS Form 990 filings annually, available to any donor or member of the public upon request.

Conflict of interest protection

All directors and officers sign an annual Conflict of Interest Disclosure. Any transaction involving affiliated entities requires advance disclosure and disinterested Board approval.

No private inurement

By charter and by law, no part of the Foundation's net earnings may benefit any private individual. Assets are permanently dedicated to charitable purposes.

Independent governance

The Foundation operates with fully independent governance from StarChanger Studios LLC and all affiliated entities. All collaborations must serve charitable purposes and be documented.

Participant eligibility standards

All programs operate under formal eligibility criteria and audit forms to ensure services reach the people who need them most and that resources are used appropriately.
